I wanted to take a moment to respond to a comment on Military Discounts at restaurants. A reader posted a comment that Texas Steakhouse and Saloon, offers a 10% military discount to anyone who shows their military ID. I took a moment to contact Texas Steakhouse they directed me to their blog here. I have posted the details below:

To that end, we contribute one dollar of every Texas Steakhouse t-shirt or Grandma's Shortcake purchase to the Wounded Warrior Project, a program that provides help and support to severely injured service men and women. ....(Kudos to Texas...what a great program!:)
In addition, every member of the armed services - active duty or retired - is entitled to an automatic 10% discount at Texas Steakhouse with military identification.
